Awaited debate between Trump and Sonnenfeld fizzles out at forum

KUALA LUMPUR: The much-anticipated “battle” between real estate tycoon Donald Trump and Yale University lecturer Dr Jeffrey Sonnenfeld at the Global Leadership Forum failed to materialise yesterday as the two chose to express mutual admiration for each other. 

Participants hoping to see a debate between the co-speakers over the popular reality show “The Apprentice,” which is hosted by Trump and fiercely criticised by Dr Sonnenfeld, instead heard warm greetings and polite exchanges at the forum.
