Petronas Gas inks JV deal with MOX Gases

Petronas Gas Bhd, a subsidiary of Petroliam Nasional Bhd, has signed a joint venture agreement with MOX Gases Sdn Bhd to promote, market, sell and distribute nitrogen gas to customers in the Gebeng industrial area, Pahang. 

The companies signed the agreement yesterday, according to a joint statement by Petronas Gas and MOX Gases, which is a subsidiary of Malaysian Oxygen Bhd. 

Petronas Gas was represented by managing director/chief executive officer, Wan Zulkiflee Wan Ariffin and MOX Gases by its managing director, Sam Peterson. 

Under the terms of the agreement, the two parties would set up a joint venture company on a 50:50 basis. 

“The company will leverage on the strengths of Petronas Gas and Malaysian Oxygen, country's two leading gas providers, to bring continuous improvement, operational best practices and worldclass reliability.” – Bernama
