COLOMBO: Dialog Telekom, the Sri Lankan subsidiary of Telekom Malaysia Bhd, on Thursday cut outgoing call rates across-the-board on its mobile network, saying it was elated to achieve a customer base of 2.5 million and wanted to pass on some benefits.

“We are distinctly honoured by the fact that 2.5 million Sri Lankans have placed their faith in us,” Dialog Telekom chief executive officer Dr Hans Wijayasuriya said at a ceremony to mark the event.
