> OMEGA TO BE DELISTED ON MONDAY: The securities of Omega Holdings Bhd will be delisted from the official list of Bursa Malaysia from 9am on Monday.  

Bursa said in a statement Omega did not have an adequate level of financial condition to warrant continued listing. – Bernama 

> PPB OIL PALMS UNIT SIGNS LOAN PACT: PPB Oil Palms Bhd (PPBOP) said wholly-owned subsidiary Newday Holdings Ltd has entered into a facility agreement with Bumiputra-Commerce Bank (L) Ltd (BCBL) for a US$100mil committed transferable unsecured revolving credit facility from BCBL. 

The banking facility is to finance the capital expenditure and working capital requirements, and oil palm operations and related activities of PPBOP and its subsidiaries. – Bernama 

> PARAMOUNT BUYS LAND FOR RM39MIL IN KEDAH: Paramount Corp Bhd said its subsidiary Paramount Property (Utara) Sdn Bhd has entered into a conditional sale and purchase agreement with Ideal Appraisal Sdn Bhd for the acquisition of 15 contiguous pieces of freehold land totalling 576.18 acres in Sungai Petani, Kedah, for RM38.91mil. 

The proposed acquisition will be funded by internally-generated funds. The deal is expected to be completed within six months. – Bernama 

> RIMBUNAN H1 PROFIT AT RM9.8MIL: Rimbunan Sawit Bhd has reported a pre-tax profit of RM9.84mil and turnover of RM48.07mil for the six months ended Feb 28, 2006. – Bernama 

> INIX POSTS RM3MIL 9-MONTH PROFIT: INIX Technologies Holdings Bhd has reported a pre-tax profit of RM2.73mil and turnover of RM11.53mil for the nine months ended April 30. – Bernama
