KUALA LUMPUR: Astro All Asia Networks plc reported a 127% jump in net profit to RM91mil for the first quarter ended April 30, compared with RM39.8mil in the first quarter last year.
The net profit increase was due to favourable earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (Ebitda) performance and lower finance cost, and after offsetting share of losses from associates and overseas investments, it said in a statement yesterday.
