KUALA LUMPUR: Sime Darby Auto Italia Sdn Bhd, the main distributor of Alfa Romeo vehicles in Malaysia, has signed an agreement with Automobile Association of Malaysia (AAM) to provide 24-hour roadside assistance to its customers.

Called Alfa Care, the two-year free support programme would cover such services as towing and minor on-site repairs for Alfa Romeos sold by Auto Italia, said the Sime Darby group unit in a statement.

The agreement on Alfa Care was signed by Sime Darby Motor Group (Malaysia/Thailand) managing director Rajan Thurairatnam and AAM chairman Tunku Datuk Mudzaffar Tunku Mustapha recently.

“Today, Alfa owners enjoy professional and reasonably priced after-sales support and readily available parts. We have also taken the bold step of offering a two-year warranty and an unprecedented three-year free maintenance package for all new cars purchased from us,” Rajan said. – Bernama
