TNB shares, warrants to see strong buying

PETALING JAYA: Tenaga Nasional Bhd's (TNB) share price and its call warrants are expected to see strong buying interest today after the government announced the long-waited electricity tariff increase yesterday.  

The securities were suspended in the afternoon pending the announcement. TNB was last traded at RM8.65, TNB-CA jumped 7.6% to RM1.70 and TNB-CB gained 5% to 74.5 sen.
