KUALA LUMPUR: Research and development (R&D) activities in Malaysia could be intensified if the authorities emulate China's move in giving companies 100% tax deduction on R&D expenditure.
The Associated Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Malaysia (ACCCIM) president Tan Sri William Cheng said the Government could also provide financial aid for R&D, similar to China's practice.
