TOKYO: Japan's Hanshin Electric Railway Co, South Korea's KT Freetel Co and Paladin Resources Ltd in Australia rose after they were among 67 stocks in Asia picked to join Morgan Stanley Capital International Inc's global indexes.
Hong Kong's Foxconn International Holdings Ltd and China's Guangzhou R&F Properties C. also advanced after being chosen in MSCI's annual review of its equity benchmarks, the index provider said in a client release obtained by Bloomberg News.
