KUALA LUMPUR: Island & Peninsular Bhd has sold almost a quarter of the homes in phase two of its Moroccan-themed Marrakech Lake View TwinVilla development at the Kota Seriemas township in Negri Sembilan.
All 37 double-storey semi-detached houses under phase one have been sold while the 54-unit phase two, launched last August, has 41 units remaining.
Group managing director Datuk Jamaludin Osman said the company had delivered 800 houses in Kota Seriemas, located along the Nilai-KLIA Highway next to the Sepang F1 Circuit in the Klang Valley Southern Corridor.
“There are 3,000 people living there already,” he said yesterday.
The company also recently completed the RM14.8mil Puteri Nursing College under a build-and-lease agreement with KPJ Healthcare Bhd.
I&P has to-date completed seven of a total 35 phases at the sprawling 2,800-acre township, expected to be completed by 2020.
“We may break this up into more phases and higher values, depending on what the market demand and conditions are,” Jamaludin said.
Priced from RM228,888 to RM505,814 and with land areas of 3,600 sq ft, the Marrakech Lake View TwinVilla homes boast a unique geometric Mediterranean architectural design and a Moroccan courtyard.
Marrakech Lake View TwinVilla spans 25 acres of freehold land and has a gross development value (GDV) of RM29mil. Total GDV of the Kota Seriemas township is RM2.3bil.
