PETALING JAYA: Sales at Eastern & Oriental Bhd's (E&O) Seri Tanjung Pinang project have been encouraging, thanks partly to the conversion of land tenure in the Penang project from leasehold to freehold.

“We understand the group sold 87% of bungalow lots launched in February in less than three months. This should result in strong profits in its fourth quarter ended March 31, to be announced by May,” DBS Vickers Research said in a report yesterday.
