THIRTY-EIGHT year old Kevin Leong runs one of Mesdaq Market's fastest growing companies, whose phenomenal growth has resulted in its market capitalisation reaching about RM500mil in less than three years from RM66mil when it was listed in May 2004.

Leong, who is from Penang, recalled the year his father lost his job due to the recession when he was in Form 4. His two sisters, he said, had to stop schooling and find work while the family's two sons continued with their studies.
