Option to privatise some Khazanah units

KUALA LUMPUR: Khazanah Nasional Bhd managing director Datuk Azman Mokhtar said the agency might consider privatising some of its companies if there were benefits from doing so.

“It is much easier to make decisions and do certain things when you take a company private. The rise in regulations and corporate governance has resulted in taking companies private a practice,'' he said in a media conference after delivering a speech at the first day of the Invest Malaysia conference yesterday.
