MOST analysts expect investors and punters to invest in second and third liner stocks in the absence of tangible results from most of the restructuring of Government-linked companies (GLCs) listed on Bursa Malaysia.
Avenue Securities head of research Noor Azwa Mohd Noor said in view of the current tough business environment such as rising interest rates and high oil prices, positive results from the ongoing GLC revamp would only come in the latter part of 2006.
