KUALA LUMPUR: LuxuryConcepts Watches and Jewellery Sdn Bhd, which owns the exclusive rights as boutique operator for Oris watches in Malaysia, expects sales of the brand to grow by 5% to 10% yearly, mainly driven by demand for specialised mechanical watches and a developing watch market.
Chief executive officer Frank Low said that as Oris was one of the more established brands in Malaysia, it would be able to leverage on the growing market for watches, especially in the young, up-and-coming executives category as well as watch collectors who appreciated good mechanical watches.
