KUALA LUMPUR: Standard Chartered Bank (M) Bhd achieved its best results in four years with pre-tax profit of RM579mil on the back of RM1.26bil in revenue for financial year ended Dec 31, 2005.
The pre-tax profit marked a 24% increase over the RM467mil recorded in 2004, while revenue improved 23% from RM1.03bil, said managing director and chief executive officer Shayne Nelson.
