SEPANG: AirAsia Bhd will not dilute its 49% stake in Thai AirAsia despite the budget carrier’s ownership having exceeded 50% with the entry of Singapore’s Temasek Holdings in the airline's co-owner Shin Corp.

“I can confirm very categorically that AirAsia will remain a 49% stake holder in Thai AirAsia. Whatever has to be done will be done at the Shin Corp level,’’ group chief executive officer Datuk Tony Fernandes told reporters at the newly built LCC Terminal in Sepang yesterday.
