CHIPMAKER Unisem (M) Bhd, eyeing the growing semiconductor demand in China, is already planning additional investment in its proposed plant in Chengdu.
Chief executive officer John Chia said it would invest an additional US$30mil this year in research and development (R&D) equipment at the new facility, expected to be operational by April.
