KUALA LUMPUR: Tequila-ISC\Malaysia has entered into a merger with Myalo, an independent interactive marketing services company.

Tequila-ISC said in a statement the new entity, Tequila-Myalo\Malaysia, was set to further bolster the agency's through-the-line communication capabilities, in line with the growing demand for online services.

It said the merged entity would offer, among other things, web, mobile and multimedia integrated services.

TBWA-ISC\ Group Malaysia chief executive officer Austen Zecha said this move would enable Tequila-Myalo\Malaysia to offer a suite of services encompassing customer relationship management, public relations, events and promotional activities and interactive marketing.

Tequila-Myalo has a combined staff of 31.

Myalo founder Datuk Tim Garland said: “Even prior to this merger, we have been working closely on some key projects which make this alliance a natural progression.”

Garland, now chief operating officer of Tequila-Myalo\Malaysia, said as a group, both parties had ongoing work for clients such as TELEKOM MALAYSIA BHD, Standard Chartered, Durex, Salem and Winston.

Most recently, they created the new Tourism Malaysia website for the American and European markets.

“This bears testimony to the impending demand for interactive marketing services with over 10 million users to tap onto in Malaysia alone,” he added. – Bernama
