LONDON: European markets traded narrowly mixed Monday as earnings updates from two of France's biggest companies and a higher start to Wall Street trading failed to inspire investors.
The German DAX 30 added 0.2 percent at 5,660, the French CAC 40 declined 0.2 percent at 4,944 and the U.K. FTSE100 ended 0.1 percent lower at 5,779.
