NEW YORK: Motorola Inc's fourth-quarter earnings shot up 86% on the strength of demand for its mobile phones such as the popular Razr, but shares fell after the company's sales and outlook disappointed Wall Street.
Sales rose 18% to US$10.43bil, falling short of analysts' expectations of US$10.46bil, according to Reuters Estimates.
