Still upbeat as rally loses steam

NEW YORK: Wall Street’s mood remains upbeat after two positive weeks to open 2006, even if the stunning rally to open 2006 has lost some momentum. 

In the week to Friday, the blue-chip Dow Jones Industrial Average was essentially flat, rising a fraction of a point to 10,959.87.
