BEIJING: Eight managers of a company in southern China, including two from Hong Kong, have been jailed on charges that they failed to pay workers and suppliers, a news report said Saturday.
The case, reportedly the first of its kind in China, comes amid a government campaign to make Chinese employers disburse billions of dollars (euros) in back pay owed to workers.
