NasionCom to grow mobile phone business


KUALA LUMPUR: Mesdaq-listed NasionCom Holdings Bhd expects its mobile phone business to be its leading growth driver within the next three years. It has allocated RM10mil-RM20mil as its 2006 capital expenditure (capex) for this business segment. 

Chief operating officer Peter Tham said that with the launch of its new product on Jan 18 – the voice over Internet protocol (VoIP) mobile phone – the company expects to take advantage of the growing mobile market that includes 15 million prepaid users.
