Positioning for a brighter year


Telekom Malaysia Bhd is expanding its Global Internet Protocol network to position Malaysia as a hub for Asia. With the completion of the network, TM will have a comprehensive global IP presence by 2007, group chief executive officer Datuk Abdul Wahid Omar says. 

Johor Land Bhd managing director F.M. Shafiqul Hafiz believes it is time for the company to strengthen its position as a premier property company in other parts of the country via strategic alliances and partnerships.  

Dell Asia Pacific is focusing on key areas to make technology simpler for customers, and bringing innovative, standards-based products that deliver greater value, according to country manager Yasmin Mahmood. 

BPB Malaysia Gypsum Sdn Bhd managing director Paul McCrea says the company's RM120mil investment in a manufacturing operation in Malaysia, serving both the domestic and key export markets in South-East Asia, are part of its strategy to grow its presence.
