UEM world in expansion mood

The year 2006 will be one of growth and expansion for UEM World Bhd. Managing director/chief executive officer Datuk Ahmad Pardas Senin says the group aims to achieve excellence and benchmark itself against world-class companies to emerge as a strong player in the industries it is involved in. It will also explore new investments and expand its reach globally.  

Naza Group of Companies is expanding rapidly and plans to invest RM800mil next year in line with its aim to go public. Managing director Tan Sri SM Nasimuddin SM Amin sees the group's Naza Kia arm continuing to grow market share and reach new markets, as well as deepening its relationship with its Korean technical partner, Kia Motors Corp. 

Cisco Systems Malaysia's strategy, moving into 2006, is to grow its presence in sectors such as financial services, healthcare and contact centres. Managing director Kumaran Singaram wants the company to focus on building the concept of the intelligent information network in Malaysia.
