Samudra to build two new tankers for EAT

E.A. Technique (M) Sdn Bhd (EAT) has appointed Sumber Samudra Sdn Bhd (Samudra) to design and construct two new tankers worth RM112mil as part of its fleet expansion exercise. 

Managing director Abdul Hak Md Amin said the company expected to take delivery of the first 4,200 deadweight tonne (DWT) product tanker by the first half of 2007, followed by a 6,000 DWT chemical tanker six months after that.
