SYDNEY: Singapore Power Ltd raised A$1.4bil in the initial public offering of its Australian energy unit, less than the maximum sought as investors questioned the company's growth prospects. SP AusNet sold 1.03 billion shares at A$1.38 each, people familiar with the matter said.
SingPower wants to buy more assets in Australia because the city-state's government plans to end its domestic monopoly.
