Dawn of new growth phase

THE Port of Tanjung Pelepas (PTP) and Titan Chemicals Corp Bhd are set to enter their next phase of growth.

Harun Johari, chief executive officer of PTP, expects 2006 to be an excellent year. Larger vessels will be plying the port, which is positioning itself to be the market leader in service delivery.

Titan managing director Donald M. Condon sees the company moving into its next phase of growth where supply and demand dynamics remain positive.

However, Titan’s current share price level is a major concern.

“Our share price does not quite reflect the underlying value of Titan and our top priority in the coming year will be to try and correct this,” Condon said.

Intel Malaysia looks forward to the further development of information and communications technology in the country.

To encourage further computer literacy, the company is on course to creating powerful Intel-based computers that are increasingly smaller, sleeker and more energy efficient, says Chris Tan, country manager of Intel Malaysia.
