Avago uses Malaysia as global HQ for 3 key divisions

AVAGO Technologies Malaysia, a unit of California-based Avago Technologies, is the nerve centre and global headquarters for three key business divisions – opto-electronics, motion control and optical navigation. 

All the designing work for the three products was done in Penang, Avago Malaysia vice-president and general manager Saw Kong Beng told a press conference after the launch of the company yesterday. The event was officiated by Penang Chief Minister Tan Sri Dr Koh Tsu Koon.
