INVESTORS sold down shares in a knee-jerk reaction to the 30 basis points increase in Bank Negara’s overnight policy rate to 3% on Wednesday, dealers said.
They said investors were cautious and concerned that corporate earnings might weaken, now that the cost of doing business could be more expensive.
