LONDON: European markets shrugged off auto-sector troubles Thursday after a profit warning from Renault SA and ended higher on stronger commodities and M&A.
The German DAX 30 finished up 0.4 percent at 5,099, the French CAC 40 climbed 0.2 percent at 4,523 and the U.K. FTSE 100 added 0.6 percent at 5,460.
