LONDON: European markets closed little changed Monday after sideways trading as higher crude translated into a boost for oil firms and investors digested some deal news.
The German Xetra DAX 30 index finished up 0.03 percent at 5,092, France's CAC 40 index gained 0.3 percent to 4,548 and the U.K.'s FTSE 100 index climbed 0.09 percent to 5,470.
