SYDNEY, Australia: Australia's central bank said Wednesday it could adjust interest rates to fight off rising inflation sparked by high oil prices.
Consumer price index figures released in September showed year-on-year inflation at 3 percent - the upper limit of the Reserve Bank of Australia's target.
