NEW YORK: Wall Street watchers are trying to gauge whether the ailing market has hit a bottom and is ready to rebound or remains mired amid jitters about the economy and inflation.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell for a fifth consecutive week, but only marginally. The blue-chip index lost a fraction of a point over the week to end Friday at 10,291.51.
