Malaysia and South Korea renew bilateral swap arrangement


KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia and South Korea renewed their Bilateral Swap Arrangement Agreement Friday, Bank Negara Malaysia said. 

In a statement on its website the Malaysian central bank said that the two-way bilateral swap arrangement (BSA) agreement between Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) and the Bank of Korea (BOK) under the Chiang Mai Initiative was renewed Friday for another three years, given the expiry of the agreement, which was first entered into on 26 July 2002.
