TOTAL inventory of residential units in Malaysia rose by 1.3% to 3.56 million units in the second quarter of 2005 from the previous quarter, the Valuation and Property Services Department said in its stock report yesterday.
Selangor and Johor had the concentration of residential units, representing 42.6% of the total inventory, the report said. Traditional two- and three-storey terraced types dominated existing stock at 20.2% of the national total, it added.
