THREE listed plantation groups have established separate joint ventures with the Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB) to set up palm biodiesel plants in the country.
Plantation Industries and Commodities Minister Datuk Peter Chin Fah Kui said the three plants – two in Port Klang and one in Johor Baru – would have an annual production of 60,000 tonnes each, slated for operations within the next 12 months.
