Star expanding radio business

STAR Publications (M) Bhd has entered into a deal that would see it expand its radio broadcasting business following the acquisition of Star Rfm Sdn Bhd in 2003. 

In a filing to Bursa Malaysia, Star Publications announced it was paying RM7mil cash to buy a 70% stake in Rimakmur Sdn Bhd, which has a licence to provide terrestrial radio broadcasting services in Peninsular Malaysia and Sabah.
