WELLINGTON, New Zealand (AP) - New Zealand stocks hit a record high Friday - the second in two days _ as investors mostly held firm ahead of Saturday's general election.
The benchmark NZSX-50 index of leading stocks rose 19.19 points, or 0.6 percent, to 3434.88 - eclipsing its prior high of 3419.06 set on Thursday.
