THE Federal Land and Development Authority (Felda) has put aside plans for an initial public offering (IPO) in order to focus on improving the living conditions of its poor planters, its chairman said yesterday.
A government plan to list Felda, which produces nearly a fifth of all palm oil in Malaysia, has fuelled industry speculation since it was first proposed in 2003.
