THE Companies Commission of Malaysia (CCM) expects its online services to be ready by the end of next year, said chairman Datuk Seri Talaat Husain.
He said the services would enable CCM to provide customers with better services and to be more efficient.
CCM had successfully completed the nationwide rollout of its information technology-based Company and Business System (CBS) in June, he added.
“We have migrated our system from the mainframe to the new web-based system. The new system will allow us to start working on delivering online services to our customers in the near future,” Talaat told reporters in Kuala Lumpur.
He said through the e-services, customers would have a channel to obtain corporate information and submit applications.
The commission, he added, had spent about RM24mil on migration of the system. – Bernama
