Analysts: Ports in for steady growth

MALAYSIAN ports are expected to enjoy steady growth, going forward, due to the growing global economy and demand for trade, analysts said. 

According to Mayban Research, local ports continued to register positive container throughput growth in the first quarter of the year, handling 2.8 million TEUs ( 20-ft equivalent units), a 4.4% increase compared with the same quarter last year.
