MASKargo to raise fuel surcharge again

MALAYSIA Airlines' cargo unit said it will raise the fuel surcharge on shipments to the US, Europe and parts of Africa for a fourth time this year to compensate for higher oil prices.

MASKargo will raise its levy 11% to RM1.9 a kg starting Sept 8, it told cargo agents on Aug 25 on its Website. It will also raise charges on shipments to Australia, New Zealand and other destinations by 20% to RM1.2 a kg. – Bloomberg
