Nielsen says its method not opaque

NIELSEN Media Research (NMR) is not being opaque about its methodology for measuring newspaper readership, executive director Danyal Abdul Malik said. 

Responding to a recent editorial in an English daily (not The Star) that disputed its readership figures, he said NMR had always explained its methodology at the annual training programme it conducted for Nielsen Media Index subscribers.
