Having succeeded in building his own business empire – the public-listed Mahaka Group of which he is the president and CEO – he knows a lot about investing, particularly in attracting foreign investments.
He has played an instrumental role in helping Indonesian president Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) win office and is the natural choice to lead the board set up by the SBY Government to attract foreign investments into the country.
