Firms lack awareness of technology’s role

THERE is a lack of awareness within organisations concerning the role that technology can play in improving finance operations, according to a survey commissioned by Accenture Financial Solutions and conducted by the Economist Intelligence Unit. 

The survey on 120 senior executives from Asia-Pacific, North America and Europe indicated that many of them were not aware of what process improvements could be made with the use of technology.
