  • SELANGOR Properties rose 26 sen to RM2.34 yesterday on volume of 1.11 million shares after the company received a conditional voluntary offer (VGO) from its major shareholder, Kayin Holdings Sdn Bhd, to buy the remaining shares in the company for RM2.40 each, dealers said. The VGO could have boosted sentiment in the stock, the dealer said. 

  • KNM Group’s shares climbed 12sen to RM2.86 yesterday on positiveoutlook for the company.Analysts said that KNM’s orderbook stood at RM450mil as at July31, and it could potentially secureanother RM400mil and RM500milworth of orders for the financialyears ending 2005 and 2006respectively. 

  • NESTLE's shares closed 60 senlower at RM24.40 yesterday, makingit the day's biggest loser. Ananalyst attributed the price declineto profit-taking, but added thatthere was still strong interest inthe food company's stock.
