Made-In-China (MiC) cars will take quite sometime to create an impact in the local motoring scene before the Chinese brands are widely accepted by Malaysians, Oriental Holdings Bhd and Boon Siew Sdn Bhd group of companies managing director Datuk Robert Wong said.
He said most Malaysians would adopt a “wait and see” attitude when it came to new things and it was not an easy task for the distributors of MiC and their marketing agents to convince Malaysians to buy or switch to Chinese brands.
