LONDON (AP) - European markets closed mixed on Wednesday, pressured by weaker U.S. shares as investors sharpened their focus on interest-rate policy.
The U.K. FTSE 100 index closed up 0.3 percent to 5,215, while the German DAX Xetra 30 index added 0.3 percent at 4,784.5 and the French CAC 40 index shed 0.1 percent to 4,418.3.
